Adding tags

Tags are a customisable search tool designed to ease the user's ability to find and search for relevant information on the system.

Add Tag feature (highlighted)

Users can add searchable tags to:

  • Contacts
  • Companies
  • Addresses
  • Enquiries
  • Sales Leads
  • Sales Quotations
  • Sales Orders
  • Projects
  • Job Cards
  • Parts
  • Purchase Orders
  • Assets
  • Suppliers
  • Sales Invoices
  • Purchase Invoices
  • Sales Credit Notes
  • Purchase Credit Notes
  • Services
  • Service Job Cards
  • Service Quotes

To add a tag, simply select 'Add Tag' beneath an item and enter the tag of your choice. Press return on your keyboard to save the tag.

All tags are searchable through the 'Keyword Search' filter on any given index page.

! Example: A user adds the tag 'Mr A' to a contact. The tag can be searched using the 'Keyword Search' feature on the Contacts index page. Similarly, a purchase order with a tag could be searched by a keyword search on the purchase order index and a job card with an added tag could be searched for by a Keyword Search in the job cards index.
