Adding tax codes

! Only administrators may add or refresh tax codes.

Users with integrated accounting packages

New tax codes should be created within your accounting package. Once created, the tax codes in Flowlens can be updated by accessing them via the settings menu.

Selecting this will bring the user to the tax rates page. Here, users should select 'Refresh Tax Rates'.

Once refreshed, the newly-added tax rate/code should display in all relevant areas of Flowlens.

Users without integrated accounting packages

Unlike users with integrated accounting packages, users without integrated accounting packages can add new tax codes directly to the Flowlens via the settings menu.

Selecting this will bring you to the tax rates page. Now select 'Add Tax Rate'.

Upon selection, a window will display. 

Once you've entered your data into these fields selecting 'Create Tax Rate'. Once saved, the newly-added tax rate/code should display in all relevant areas of Flowlens.

! Users without integrated accounting packages can archive tax rates at any time. Doing so will remove the tax rate from the system until such times as it is un-archived again.
