Importing Stock Quantities

We have made it really easy to bring in your opening stock quantities into Flowlens. Follow these simple steps and your part quantities will be successfully updated:

STEP 1: Ensure you have added all your required part locations to your Flowlens. You can check this by clicking STOCK --> PART LOCATIONS. Additional locations can be added via the NEW PART LOCATION button on the right of the screen.

STEP 2: Download the initial stock template via SETTINGS --> DATA IMPORTS --> INITIAL STOCK COUNTS. 

STEP 3: Open both the csv template & instructions file which contains important information about the upload. Please ensure you have read the instructions in order to understand what the effect will be once the data has been uploaded to your Flowlens. 

As you can see in the screenshot below, in row 1, columns C - N are the part locations setup in Flowlens as per the screenshot in step 1. Now update the quantities for each part & relevant part location & save the file in csv format when done.

STEP 4: Import the completed file via SETTINGS --> DATA IMPORTS --> INITIAL STOCK COUNTS --> I'VE USED THIS TEMPLATE, select the relevant file & follow the on-screen instructions.

That's it, you have successfully imported your current stock quantities in 4 easy steps.
