Xero: Refreshing Nominal Accounts and Tax Rates

Update Nominal Accounts / Chart of Accounts

Xero provides a default Chart of Accounts which you can edit / adjust to suit the needs of your business. There is no need to manually enter nominal account codes into Flowlens, as these can be transferred directly from Xero.

- Access Flowlens Settings
- Click 'Nominal Accounts' options
- Click 'Refresh Nominal Accounts' button

Flowlens will pull Nominal Accounts from Xero and these will be displayed. Nominal Account information is populated in relevant drop down menus throughout Flowlens.

IMPORTANT: If the Nominal Accounts fail to refresh from Xero, please ensure that all nominal accounts in Xero are correct and have account codes for every one. Ensure you check Active and Archived codes.

Update Tax Rates

Xero provides a default tax rates which you can edit / adjust to suit the needs of your business. There is no need to manually enter tax rates into Flowlens, as these can be transferred directly from Xero.

- Access Flowlens Settings
- Click 'Tax Rates'
- Click 'Refresh Tax Rates' button

Flowlens will pull Tax Rates from Xero and these will be displayed. Tax Rate information is populated in relevant drop down menus throughout Flowlens.
